THE CHALLENGE

THE CHALLENGE

One dashboard for every
executive question.

Poste Italiane needed one executive dashboard to read sales, digital channels, customer operations, IT and governance data, built to grow as new data comes in.

MY ROLE

MY ROLE

Setting the rules
before drawing the screens.

I owned the design of the dashboard in the frog team: I brought options to Poste every week, drove the decisions on navigation and templates, and wrote the rules for building new pages.

KEY DECISIONS

KEY DECISIONS

01

Templates,
not pages.

Instead of designing pages one by one, I proposed 9 templates. Every new page starts from one of them, so the dashboard grows without losing consistency.

02

Decide with evidence, not taste.

For navigation and overviews I brought several options each week, checked against what Power BI can really do. Poste chose a menu capped at three levels.

03

Design for data that isn't there yet.

Poste needed the dashboard to grow: tabs wrap onto a new line, cards take new data, and a click on a table row fills the side charts, so new KPIs don't require a redesign.

04

Rules,
not just files.

The UI kit came with best practices for line, donut, bar and mixed charts and WCAG 2.2 accessibility recommendations, so new charts stay consistent and readable.

THE IMPACT

THE IMPACT

→

Two channels, one view. Physical and digital data side by side, across 7 business areas.

→

Built to scale. Poste's team can extend the dashboard on its own, starting from the 9 templates.

→

Overview first, details on demand. Executives start from the overall numbers, then open each category and the single product, without losing the thread.

→

Charts people can read. Executives read every chart the same way, page after page.
