THE CHALLENGE

THE CHALLENGE

A new story to tell.

After rebranding from Elettronica to ELT Group, the company needed to show its new identity: a global leader in electromagnetic spectrum applications, military and civil.

MY ROLE

MY ROLE

Turning many voices into one story.

In a core team of three, I worked across the whole discovery and turned its insights into the site's structure, content and design, presenting the work to ELT's stakeholders along the way.

KEY DECISIONS

KEY DECISIONS

01

One story for four departments.

Four departments, four different stories. We turned nine voices into one narrative on four pillars: multi-domain offer, global presence, innovation, sustainability.

02

Design for who's listening, not for the org chart.

From the interviews we defined five key users: job seekers, journalists, suppliers, research partners and clients. The site follows their needs, not the company’s structure.

03

Let the experts sort the offer.

We designed and ran co-design sessions with ELT's experts, mapped how products, capabilities and domains connect, and defined a 3-level taxonomy that matches how users search.

04

Learn from the leaders, then make it ours.

A benchmark of Leonardo, Thales and Raytheon and an SEO assessment of the three old sites showed what the sector expects. The interviews showed what makes ELT different.

THE IMPACT

THE IMPACT

→

One site, one story. The new positioning told in one place, instead of across three domains.

→

Insights turned into structure. The offer told in three levels of detail, a Careers section, the countries as chapters of the company's story and a Future Lab for innovation.

→

Five audiences, one clear path each. Dedicated journeys for clients, suppliers, research partners, journalists and job seekers.

→

No visibility lost in the move. Around 280 URLs mapped to the new site to protect search rankings.
