Villa de Gràcia

Brand identity on a Barcelona district

Popular, active, multicultural, extroverted Gràcia is an oasis among the city bustle. It is more than a neighborhood, it is a village with its own identity, thriving commercial life, craft shops and designer boutiques.

The goal of this identity brand’s course was to reveal the Catalan lifestyle offering a merchandising for locals. In fact, a label’s beer, coasters, postcards, a shopping bag and a chock box were designed for this project.

The field research was important to understand the local tradition and locals’ needs. In fact, the objects are stuff that can be used in everyday life as for example chocks are used by children in the squares or the beer and coaster by young that during the weekend fill the Gràcia famous bar streets
